HISTORY OF THE FAITH FOUNDATIONS EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY AKA FAITH FOUNDATIONS CHURCH INC
ORIGIN FAITH FOUNDATIONS EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY
Prayer and Witnessing was founded by the directive efforts of Brother Mike Nduka, Dickson Elike and Dickson Amaliwom Ozah, Sunday Ishikwene, Sister Alice Ada Oyemike and Patrick Omani.
The above brethren mobilized already existing Christian brethren of Deacon Imala (Teacher), Joseph Enebeli, Brother Omubulu Francis and Nwabundo Mike. These conducted evangelism activities that led to the establishment of a central fellowship in 1976. Before the 1976 founding of the prayer and witnessing, Director Dickson A. Ozah had mobilized members of College of Education Abraka Christian Union to establish a fellowship group in 1974/1975 at Umia Primary School, Abbi. Students of the Abraka College of Education Christian Union visited the group every Sunday afternoon. Due to the growth of this fellowship, a 19 days evangelistic crusade was carried out on all the streets of Abbi. The converts of this crusade pioneered the establishment of the prayer and witnessing Group in 1976.
THE COMING OF THE FAITH FOUNDATIONS EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY
By 1984, prayer and witnessing has grown into a large Christian organization with the vision to posses Ndokwa Local Government Area by the power of the Gospel. The zeal and fire in the ‘bones’ of all the adherents to this group caught a vision of the gospel sounding out of Abbi to the uttermost part of the world. With this “Interglobal vision” the director of the group as he was called, initiated a change of name. After all said and done Faith Foundation Evangelistic Ministry was accepted and Prayer and Witnessing dropped in December 1984.
A TURNING POINT: During the Annual Evangelistic movement of 1986, a leadership and a constitution drafting committee were born. The Director was commissioned as the General Overseer.
The leadership structure was put up to manage the programs of the body.
I APPRECIATE THE GRACE OF GOD
“Beloved brethren, I with a heart full of gratitude and praise to our faithful God. of Faith Foundations Evangelistic Ministry, I testify to God’s faithfulness over this ministry
For [number] years, God has been our Rock, our Refuge, and our Guide. He has been faithful to provide for our needs, to protect us from harm, and to prosper His work through our hands.
We have seen God’s faithfulness in:
- The countless lives transformed by the Gospel
- The miracles and breakthroughs experienced by our members
- The doors of opportunity opened for us to spread the Good News
- The provision of resources and support to further His work
Our faithfulness is a response to His faithfulness. We are committed to continuing this legacy of faith, trusting in God’s promises and provision.
Let us honor God’s faithfulness by remaining faithful to His call, His Word, and His purpose for our lives and this ministry.
May our hearts be filled with thanksgiving, our spirits be renewed, and our lives be a testament to God’s enduring faithfulness.
To God be the glory, now and forevermore! Amen!”

The above was used to incorporate the body in 1995. We applied in 1989 but the registration certificate was gotten in 1995, and thus was after the body has grown out of a non – Sunday worshipping fellowship to full denomination to carry out all activities that such a body is expected to run for the enrichment and growth of a denomination. This has not been easy but we are growing up as a denomination.
